When Mas de Toulair becomes the Theatre of Provençal Art de Vivre
There are places that seem to stand outside time, places that belong only to those who know how to find them.
In the heart of Provence Occitane, in the unspoilt village of Saint-Christol-de-Rodières, stands one such sanctuary: the Mas de Toulair.
This 550 m² winegrower’s house, both imposing and intimate, exudes Provence. Its old stones tell the story of a family, the Castors, winegrowers for several generations and guardians of Château Saint Nabor.
This is the setting for “Le Chant des Vignes – Les Rencontres Exceptionnelles”, a unique event to celebrate the end of summer, the grape harvest and the ties forged throughout the year.
It was a rare moment of elegance, bringing together around a hundred elected representatives, senior executives and key players from the region, all united by a taste for beauty, good food and sharing.

Le Mas de Toulair: A House of Character Serving Inspired Encounters
More than just a residence, Le Mas de Toulair is an experience in its own right.
Its six spacious bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms, welcome up to thirteen guests in discreet luxury, where every detail seems designed to combine comfort and serenity.
The infinity pool, bathed in light, faces the Gard hills, offering an almost meditative view at dusk. The whirlpool bath, tucked away from the rest of the house, becomes a haven for conversation under the stars.
Inside, spacious lounges, a fully-equipped professional kitchen and flexible spaces make it the ideal setting for confidential seminars, creative retreats and elegant weddings.
Every corner of the mas seems to invite dialogue: a cosy library for intimate discussions, a shady terrace for passionate debates, a landscaped garden where time stretches out.
It was this spirit of conviviality and exclusivity that guided the design of our evening.

An Evening Under the Sign of Abundance
As the sun dipped behind the vines, guests were greeted by the scent of flowers from Stéphane Fortier, founder of Vertiges.
This floral designer, a specialist in confidential events, created sober, majestic arrangements for the occasion, playing on shades of green, white and terracotta.
The tables were adorned with elegance, the aisles dotted with lanterns: the Mas became a living décor, like a poem in full bloom.

The Alliance of Flavours: From Truffles to Aix Ice Creams
Because gastronomy is at the heart of the art of entertaining, we entrusted the culinary score to Yolaine, chef at the Maison de Garniac.
Her delicate menu was a tribute to the truffle, queen of our land.
Each dish, conceived as a tribute to the seasons, offered a subtle balance between tradition and modernity: truffled croques-monsieur, ravioli with cream and pesto, delicious macaroons.
To extend the sensory experience, we invited Maboul, an artisan ice-cream maker from Aix-en-Provence whose creations are like no other.
His ice creams, with their daring combinations of basil & lemon and fig & lavender, delighted the palate and brought a deliciously unexpected note of freshness to the evening.
The Symphony of Wine and Music
After these gourmet delights, the evening continued in the heart of the vines with the tasting of the Château Saint Nabor wines. The wines revealed the soul of our terroir, inviting our guests on a journey of flavours and emotions.
The night then came alive with the music of Goldy Flower, whose captivating energy turned the tasting into a true celebration. Between laughter, clinking glasses and dancing, the Mas de Toulair became a place of sharing, joy and unforgettable memories.

Lighting, Décor and Atmosphere
The atmosphere of the Mas has been transformed thanks to the talent of Marion and Adrien, exceptional decorators and scenographers.
They played with light, textures and perspectives to reveal the raw beauty of the place.
Garlands of light caressed the stones, candles vibrated on the tables, creating an almost cinematic effect.
Every space was an invitation to travel, every nook and cranny a stage.

The Art of Capturing the Invisible
An event of this nature could not do without the keen eye of an artist capable of capturing its essence.
We chose Marie Lapaire, a talented photographer whose work is distinguished by a rare elegance and an almost painterly eye for detail.
Her shots tell the story of the evening like a visual novel: hands brushing against each other, smiles of complicity, glasses of wine rising in unison.
Thanks to her, the Chant des Vignes becomes a timeless story that everyone can relive long after the last notes of music have died away.

Château Saint Nabor: The beating heart of the terroir
It’s impossible to talk about this evening without mentioning Château Saint Nabor, the family wine estate of Jérémie & Raphaël Castor, a lineage of six generations of winemakers.
The wines that accompanied the dinner were more than a simple pairing: they were an extension of the family history, the signature of the place.
Jérémie, a passionate winemaker, and Yolanda, an ambassador for the art of living, shared their philosophy with the guests: to work the vines with respect, to create cuvées of character and to welcome visitors as friends.
These wines – whites, reds and rosés – served as the common thread running through the evening, linking each dish to the land where it was born.

A turning point for Mas de Toulair
“Le Chant des Vignes” was not conceived as an ephemeral event, but as the first chapter in a new story.
With this event, the Mas de Toulair is affirming its vocation: to become an exceptional meeting place, where gastronomy, culture, reflection and celebration come together.
In today’s fast-paced world, the Mas de Toulair offers a rare opportunity to pause, reflect, create and forge lasting relationships.
It’s both a sanctuary and a place to celebrate the harvest and new ideas, the seasons and future projects.

A Rendez-Vous that beckons the next one
As the last notes of music died away and the lanterns were gently extinguished, the Mas de Toulair regained its calm.
But in the air still floated the promise of new encounters.
For “Le Chant des Vignes” was not a parenthesis, but the prelude to a series of events celebrating Provence, wine, the arts and friendship.
“True luxury does not consist in possessing, but in feeling”
At Mas de Toulair, this phrase takes on its full meaning.
Here, every moment is etched in your memory like a poem.
