Domaine de Leos
From the earth to the elixir, the Domaine de Léos in Provence reveals all the nobility of ancestral light.

Domaine de Leos
There are places that cannot be visited, but must be experienced, lands inhabited by light, silence and an ancient soul. The Domaine de Leos, perched high above L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, is just such a place. Owned by singer Patrick Bruel, it doesn’t just produce olive oil and wine. It embodies a dream, a philosophy of life, an art of slowness and beauty.

A refuge from the sun in the heart of Provence
Facing Mont Ventoux, between the song of the cicadas and the warm winds of the Luberon, the Domaine extends over 41 sun-drenched hectares. What was once an uncultivated field has become a living ecosystem, designed with absolute respect for the land. From the moment he acquired the estate in 2007, Patrick Bruel has brought this forgotten property back to life by infusing it with a vision: that of a land that is passed on, regenerated and shared. The name Leos – in homage to his sons, Léon and Oscar – seals this story of filiation and deep-rooted love.
Here, time seems to stand still. Three-hundred-year-old olive trees stand alongside carefully replanted seedlings. The limestone soil breathes garrigue, wild lavender and rosemary. Each season is celebrated here, each light welcomed as a gift.

The heritage of a thousand-year-old land
From Roman times to the time of the Commanderie des Hospitaliers, via the great years of sericulture, the Margoye hill has always been a land of nourishment. Neglected after the historic frost of 1956, it was simply waiting to be looked at again with the eyes of the heart.
Patrick Bruel has not simply restored a building. He has revived a terroir, reawakened a memory. This renaissance has been achieved with exacting standards: organic farming, HVE3 certification, preservation of the natural balance. It’s a sincere, raw and radiant Provence that blossoms here.

H de Leos olive oil: the liquid gold of the South of France
Harvested by hand and pressed within hours of being picked, H de Leos olive oil is a treasure. Made from Aglandau, Picholine and Salonenque varieties, it is available in four fruit expressions:
– Green fruity, lively and herbaceous, with notes of raw artichoke and rocket
– Ripe fruit, rounder, almost velvety
– Fruité noir, rich and distinctive, with aromas of candied olives
– And the latest maturing olive oil, with its subtle, ancient charm
This oil, acclaimed by the greatest chefs – Alain Ducasse, Guy Savoy, Joël Robuchon – has won more than sixty awards, including around thirty gold medals. Each bottle is a work of art, sober and precious, conceived as an offering.

Cuvée Augusta: the wines of the perfect day
Wine, too, has found its voice. Cuvée Augusta, named after Patrick Bruel’s mother, was created from vines planted in 2018. Rosé and white are the fruit of an elegant collaboration with the great oenologist Nicolas Jaboulet.
The rosé, rated 91/100 by Decanter, is a marvel of finesse, with hints of white peach, pomelo and almond blossom. The white, airy and mineral, calls for late afternoon meals, light tablecloths and shared silences.
Each bottle embodies a certain idea of simple happiness – a bright, frank happiness, sustained by the earth and time.

Honey, jams and sweets from the garrigue
When spring comes, the estate’s bees are busy picking fine lavender, wild thyme and rosemary. The result is a rare, floral honey that is delicately creamy. The thyme confit, prepared in a cauldron, captures Provence in its most authentic form, combining sweetness and powerful aromas.
The jams – apricot-thyme, fig-vanilla, peach-lavender – are made in small batches, like childhood memories in a spoon. Each jar is a promise of sunshine.

Natural cosmetics: inner beauty
In collaboration with Solène Gayet, formerly of Dior and L’Occitane, a line of cosmetics has been created. Designed around the estate’s olive oil, the products (cleansing oil, moisturiser, body lotion) respect both the skin and nature. They all follow the same philosophy: beauty is only beautiful if it’s right.

Domaine de Leos, more than a place: a vision
What makes Domaine de Leos unique is not just the excellence of its products, but the soul that accompanies them. It’s the light of Provence captured in a bottle. It’s an art of living that doesn’t give in to convenience or marketing. Everything here is sincere, humble and elegant.
A boutique hotel and restaurant in the heart of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue: L’isle de Leos will open its doors in 2025. Then, in 2026, an exceptional winery dedicated to winemaking and the art of entertaining will be built on the estate: an open-air venue in dialogue with the stars.

Why is this estate so enchanting?
Because it embodies Provence at its best. Because it combines heritage, craftsmanship, innovation and poetry. Because it offers rare products – oils, wines, honeys, cosmetics – born of a preserved terroir. Because it’s driven by the soul of an artist who has never cheated on emotion.
What if true luxury were the light of a Provence morning, in a glass of rosé, a spoonful of honey, or the rustle of the wind in the olive trees?
